This Counts as My Ugly Sweater Hoodie

About this design

The office invite says ugly sweater party. You don't own an ugly sweater and have no plans to buy one. This design is the loophole, and it says so right on the front.

A bright red holiday sweater, drawn flat, has a green chest band with a white zigzag, a big white snowflake in the middle, gold stars, smaller snowflakes on the sleeves, a row of white dots, and dark red ribbing at the cuffs and hem. “THIS COUNTS AS MY” sits above in small cream capitals between red stars, and “UGLY SWEATER” is stacked below in big cream slab-serif letters outlined in red.

In hoodie form it technically is a sweater, which makes the argument airtight.

Questions

Can I wear this to an ugly sweater party?

That's the idea. It covers the theme without an actual ugly sweater, and the joke usually wins people over.

Does the design show a sweater?

Yes, a red holiday sweater with a green zigzag band, snowflakes and stars sits above the words.

Does the hoodie run large?

It's a unisex, roomy fit. Most people order their usual size. Size up if you want an oversized, layer-over-everything fit.
