What kind of fish is on the Fish Tales design?

A chunky, spotted gamefish in gold and olive that most anglers read as a bass, caught on a line mid-jump.

Does it work as a retirement gift for a fisherman?

Yes. Retirement means more time on the water and more time to improve the story.

Does the hoodie run large?

It's a unisex, roomy fit. Most people order their usual size. Size up if you want an oversized, layer-over-everything fit.

Fish Tales Told Here Sizes May Vary Funny Fishing Hoodie

About this design

Ask an angler how big it was and watch the hands spread wider with every retelling. Think of this design as the sign hung at the dock: stories told here, accuracy optional.

Inside a round vintage badge in cream, teal, gold and burnt orange, a chunky spotted fish leaps from the waves with a fishing line hooked in its mouth, backed by an orange sun. “FISH TALES TOLD HERE” curves over the top, “SIZES MAY VARY” runs below in gold, and underneath: “EST. ONE THAT GOT AWAY.”

Chilly mornings on the dock call for the hoodie, badge out for when the stories start.

Who it's for

Think of the dad who spends Father's Day on the lake, the grandpa holding court at the bait shop, or a coworker retiring to fish on weekdays. It fits a Christmas stocking, too.
